Our Executive Search Process

After gaining a solid understanding of your search requirements, timescales, organisational structure, strategic objectives and corporate culture (if your a new client) we will set to work on your assignment.

Partnership throughout each step the process

  • We prepare a compelling job profile, compile a target list of potential companies, direct competitors, associated business sectors, by product or geographic location, which is then agreed with you before candidate identification commences.


  • After delivering the long list of "who's who" and "who's where" and getting our clients formal sign off, the candidate approach, qualification & assessment begins.

  • Approaches are made to establish the level of interest and initial suitability for your role, with our detailed and probing interviews we are able to explore the executives background, competencies, interest and suitability.


  • Basic background checks are completed at this stage to verify the executives qualifications and career background. Provided no issues arise, we present you with the executives full CV’s, interviews assessment notes and our feedback on the reasons potentially suitable executives were not interested. This valuable information provides you with the market realities and the ability to tailor your requirement specification and reward structures where appropriate.


  • In conjunction with you we further narrows the shortlist to a max of 3-5 potential executives and begin thorough reference checks. We share our final thoughts on the strengths and weaknesses of each candidate and support you throughout your own internal selection process.


  • We act as mediator throughout the offer negotiation process to ensure both parties need's are realistic and in line with market conditions and individual expectations.


  • Finally we support the onboarding of the successful executive into your organisation. The level of our involvement varies, depending on your specific requirements. Again subject your requirements, we continue to maintain close ties with the hiring client and senior executive to ensure the long-term satisfaction of both parties.
